We want to ensure each and every client we serve is completely informed of not only the services we are providing but also the importance of routine pool maintenance. We have designed this page to answer many of the most frequently asked questions we hear on a daily basis.
Why do I need to hire a pool maintenance company?
Regardless of whether you are a property manager or private homeowner, safety should always be a foremost priority when owning a swimming pool. At Frisco Pool Service Inc., you can trust that each one of our technicians have been expertly trained to ensure your pool remains in top condition season after season. From a thorough weekly cleaning, balancing the pool's chemicals to a complete inspection of the pool equipment you can have peace at mind that you have hired the experts in the pool maintenance industry when you have chosen Frisco Pool Service Inc. for any of your pool service needs.
Why is the water chemistry of the pool so important?
If the water chemistry is not kept balanced, as the pool owner you could find you have subjected your pool to serious damage to the pool's heaters, sensors, pumps, pipes, plaster and filters, thus resulting in costly repairs which would otherwise be prevented. Should the ph levels of your water chemistry be off, this will also create a less than healthy swimming environment, which will result in skin and eye irritations, breathing difficulties and much more.

Why does the chlorine in the water burn my eyes?
Typically it is not actually the chlorine that is irritating your eyes. It is the ph levels. Much like your own eyes, a healthy pool has a water ph level not to exceed 7.5. At this level, you should not see a reaction from the chlorine or other chemicals used.
I clean my pool myself, so why do I need Frisco Pool Service?
At Frisco Pool Service Inc., we are more than just a pool cleaning company. We are experts in the pool maintenance and repair industry with many clients who are either by referral or long standing customers. We take great pride in providing an extensive variety of other pool maintenance and restoration services at a fair price. Why is my filter pressure too high?
High filter pressure is a result of the filter in need of backwashing, cleaning or a combination of the two. You can always rely on our experts at Frisco Pool Service Inc. to make the very best decision when the care of your pool is in our hands.
Why is my filter pressure too low?
Should the baskets become overfilled or a clog in the lines appears, the result would be a lower filtered pressure.
